UX/UI Designer (for a SaaS Application)

Job Description:

At Strativ, we design and develop IT solutions across many industries, in Sweden and beyond. To grow our design team, we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, driven designer, who is familiar with and has an interest in the Scandinavian market and design norms. Can you quickly come up with tried and tested solutions when a case is presented to you? Do you generate ideas easily? Please note, this designer role is heavily focused on ONE pioneering SaaS product based in Sweden. Meaning, the designer in this role will work alongside a team of 20-25 people (in Sweden and Bangladesh) including multiple product owners, project managers, frontend developers, backend developers, SQA, and at least one senior designer. Job Responsibilities:

• Developing wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes on Figma
• Creating responsive high-fidelity UI designs adhering to brand guidelines on Figma
• Creating rich prototypes that perfectly reflect the desired application behavior
• Helping manage and enrich a design system
• Ensuring industry-standard component management practices
• Writing design documentation to aid the development team
• Collaborating with and assisting senior designers in design projects
• Communicating efficiently with team members on the client side
• Manage time effectively, meet project deadlines, and adapt to changes

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in UX/UI designer role, and at least 1 year’s experience in designing complex dashboards
• Please provide a link to one of your designs which is most relevant to this particular role
• Practical experience using Figma
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Demonstrated skills in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Ability to demonstrate excellent English communication skills
• Applied knowledge of responsive design principles in past projects
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Employment: Full-time

Work status: Hybrid, with possibilities of weekly 1 to 2 days remote work. 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: 60K-70K Bdt/Month

Weekly 2 holidays: Saturdays & Sundays.

Working hours: 11 am- 7 pm (BDT).

What happens if you decide to apply?

After screening applications are received, we will invite shortlisted candidates to a 30-60 minute on-site or online interview. We will be curious about who you are as a person, and ask you to perform a few brief design tasks based on prompts similar to our typical projects. Then, there will be a mini project to finish at home and submit, which we will review during the second interview.

If we feel ready to welcome you to Strativ, an offer stating the salary and benefits will be discussed with you, and send you an offer upon agreement by both parties. Reference and background checks may be done during this stage to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
